Sabbatical 2019

Times are changing. Priorities are changing.

As of 1st of December 2018 I will take a long leave from Second Life, for at least one year.

It pained me long time what to do with my gallery and my poetry during my sabbatical, but the most logical thing to do is to close the store, both in world and at Marketplace, since I won't be able to give any support to customers with questions or if a purchase would fail.

I will keep my profile and avatar, and all of my groups as well, so I may make plans in the future to return to this wonderful Virtual Reality and re-open my SL business. For the time being though, my RL needs to be not only my first but my sole priority.

An interesting journey 

I built my art business in Second Life over a period of ten years, representing several artists in this virtual reality who trusted me with their precious work. 
I founded the project of Legal Quality Art Galleries, trying to get residents of Second Life aware of copyright on online art. I think I may have given some people reason for thought, I know some of them closed their galleries, filled with illegally downloaded art, and others decided to only buy art from galleries that clearly showed their business being a legitimate one, crediting the original artists for their gorgeous work, selling it for a reasonable price that respected the art, and framing the work with sufficient pixels and respect for the aspect ratio of the artwork. 

After ten years of exhibiting work from other artists and selling their work on their behalf as their art agent in Second Life, I now will close that chapter of an online interesting adventure, and focus on my own poetry art. 

Galleries

Two weeks ago the Histoire d'O Gallery closed its doors, and the day after tomorrow the Main Gallery will be closing as well. 

I will keep the Wiccan Gallery up and running, exhibiting my Witches Poetry Art and some of my Mystic Poetry Art. 

Roleplay

I'm not only retiring from being an art agent but also from being involved in online D/s roleplay. Hence I will no longer exhibit or sell my D/s poetry art. It has been an interesting adventure, but not one I want to continue any further in the online worlds. 

Artists

I want to thank the artists who trusted me with their precious work: Marcus Ranum, Francois Benveniste, Samuel Edelstein, Mickie Mueller, China Hamilton and Mick Payton. Today I sent a goodbye gift in group Body, Mind & Spirit, a box with an artwork of each of the artists. To those who are sad to see these online collections in Second Life go: please go visit their websites where you can find an opportunity to order their work for your First Life. 

Workshops and Advice 

I'm currently also taking a break from running my spiritual workshops. I may over time run them again or develop new ones. I am still available as a consultant for those who need advice about spirituality or (online) relationships. However, due to circumstances in my First Life, my focus has to be on my First Life. So you may not see me that much online these days. But I will still be around, to meet my friends, and as a poet, artist and art gallery owner of my Wiccan Art Gallery. 

Groups

The group Body, Mind & Spirit will continue to exist, where you will get updates on my future plans, and notices about events of Second Life friends in business. The Groups of Legal Quality Art will also be continued, giving art gallery owners and customers who stand up for legal art in Second Life, an opportunity to meet. The Kiosk Program for the groups will no longer continue. I found that galleries that met the standards often were selling the work of the art gallery owner, and those who would sell work of others just did not care to meet any of the standards. They would often just remove the art of the artists I represented and never minded about the other work they illegally sold. I simply have no energy anymore to make people aware of the importance of online copyright. Those who care often are already doing the right thing, those who don't care are simply not to be helped. 

Customers

I want to thank all of you, my customers, for your appreciation for the art in my galleries and for the way I ran my art business. I got a lot of messages of appreciation over the last ten years, which was a huge encouragement. Time now has come to focus on other projects that need my attention, especially in my First Life. Thank you all. I will see you around.

The Main Art Gallery is now located at Waterfalls of Wonder. Here you find collections of all artists: Marcus Ranum, Francois Benveniste, Samuel Edelstein, Mickie Mueller, China Hamilton, Mick Payton, Zena Zemlja, Odilia Oldrich. Both adult art and mystic art are exhibited in the main gallery: photography & paintings & poetry.

Histoire d'O Art Gallery

The Histoire d'O Art Gallery is now located at Capucine Island. 
This adult gallery has been supporting the Original Roissy community since it was founded back in 2007. The sim is gone, but the community is still alive in Second Life. 
Currently art is up from Marcus Ranum. Soon collections from other artists will be exhibited in this gallery as well.

Wiccan Art Gallery

The Wiccan Art Gallery is the one gallery that never moved in SL since I founded my art business back in 2007. It is located at and supporting Witches Island ever since. Currently art is up from Samuel Edelstein and Mickie Mueller. Soon a selection of my Witches Poetry will be exhibited in this gallery too.

Main Gallery re-opened!

The Main Art Gallery Body, Mind & Spirit has moved over to a new island called Tropical Sunset. It is located on a quarter part of that island.

Be welcome!

In the Main Gallery you find a selection of the collections of all the Body, Mind & Spirit artists: Mystical Art by Samuel Edelstein, Wiccan Art by Mickie Mueller, Erotic and BDSM Art by Marcus Ranum, Francois Beveniste, China Hamilton and Mick Payton.

The Mystical and Wiccan art is found on second floor, where  you also find a selection of the Mystical Poetry and Witches Poetry collection. The adult art is exhibited on first floor, including the D/s Poetry artworks.

All visitors are free to explore the environment around the gallery, where you can sit, relax and meditate, including Stonehenge which can be reached over the bridge next to the gallery. The other parts of the sim are private residential properties, please do respect their privacy, thank you.

There is a Yule / Xmas welcome gift available for every visitor. In the gallery you find several group gifts and picks gifts, right next to the entrance.

You may also want to visit the Histoire d'O Art Gallery at Roissy-en-France, for another selection of the adult art, and the Wiccan Art Gallery at Witches Island for another selection of the mystical and wiccan art. Welcome seasonal gifts are available at these both galleries as well.

Update Art Galleries

It was time to reorganize the galleries. Like in rl, a lot of businesses in SL have been closing because of the crisis that has hit us, yes, it also has hit the virtual worlds. My art business is so lucky to survive, but I had to size it down last few months.

So all galleries on the previous art sim, where each artist had one gallery of its own, are now combined into one big gallery: the Main Art Gallery Body, Mind & Spirit. You will find collections of each artist and those collections will be changing every few months.

Next to that I started uploading a selection of all collections to SL Marketplace. Currently up some erotic photography collections and a selection of the witches poetry. Be sure to login and have the maturity set to adult to see the erotic collections. More to come!

Currently up in the Main Art Gallery Body, Mind & Spirit inworld: the erotic and D/s photography by Marcus Ranum, Francois Benveniste, China Hamilton and Mick Payton.

The Wiccan Art Gallery is still up at Witches Island, where it is located since 2007, currently exhibiting the art of Mickie Mueller and Samuel Edelstein. The art collections in this gallery will change every few months too. You will be notified!

Adult Furnished Homes for Rent

Welcome to Body, Mind & Spirit Properties!

You are renting a fully furnished home with high quality adult furniture in the living room, bedroom, bathroom and your own private playroom. Your home and most of the furniture is built with the newest mesh technology.

You are living on quiet peaceful lowlag homestead sim, renting a 6048 m2 parcel with the use of 346 prims. Next to the fully furnished home of 246 prims, this allows you 100 extra prims for own use.

You have the additional option for a little pond in your backyard and a fully flowered garden, which still will leave you with at least 50 prims for own use.



You will not really need the extra prims, since the home is completely furnished, with fully working lamps, a newspaper on table, and even towels and bathrobes in your bathroom.

You may want to save your prims for practical purposes like unpacking, and for allowing props to rezz when using the furniture.



Your home is decorated with erotic quality art in each room.

You rent this fully furnished adult home for only 3000 L a month.

You have the option to pay 750 L a week (which would be 3215 L a month). So paying per month gives you a discount on the rent of 50 L a week (a total discount of 215 L a month).

All four homes for rent are located at the East side of the big pond and bridges where the swans swim and are fed.

On the West side of the SIM the galleries of Body, Mind & Spirit are located, with mystical and erotic art.

Next to the galleries you find the Stonehenge classroom for art related spiritual and adult workshops, where unicorns meet, deers are fed, and birds sing you every day their happy song.
